Dated dimensional example
Supplier confirmation| Characteristic | Example limit |
|---|---|
| Length / width deviation | −2 / +2 mm |
| Width range | 1198–1202 mm |
| Height range | 798–802 mm |
| Maximum diagonal difference | 4 mm |
| Thickness deviation | Request base-pane and film-specific values |
Nominal build-up 6.00 mm. Thickness deviation depends on the base panes and interlayer product; request current supplier values. These dated dimensions are not installation clearances. Largest side selects the planning size band. Shaped, special edgework, coatings, bowed or heat-soaked products require their specific agreement.
Manufacturing deviation describes allowable variation from an agreed glass size. It is not the edge clearance to subtract from a frame opening. Thickness, local distortion and installation cover are separate checks.
